Hendry, Betty Marguerite (Johnson)

Peacefully at Dufferin Oaks on April 22, 2019 in her 101st year. Beloved wife of the late William F. Hendry. Betty will be greatly missed by her sister-in-law Islay Anderson. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews and also cherished by many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Alfred and Sophia Johnson, brothers Douglas (Muriel) Johnson, Wallace (Bessie) Johnson and sister Annie, brothers and sisters-in-law Glen (Dorothy) Hendry, Mac (Mary) Hendry and Ken Anderson.
Friends and family will be received at the Jack & Thompson Funeral Home, Shelburne on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the funeral home chapel on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Ventry Cemetery. If desired, donations to Dufferin Oaks or Trinity United Church would be appreciated.
